Distinguished Alumni
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes a member of the Immaculate Alumni Community who exemplifies our core values and serves as an enthusiastic supporter of the school.

2026 – Angela Griffis
Angela Vargovitch Griffis is a distinguished alumna of Immaculate Conception School, whose life and career embody the values that Immaculate Conception strives to instill—academic excellence, service to others, leadership rooted in integrity, and a commitment to community. A high-achieving student, she earned multiple honors early on, demonstrating the discipline, curiosity, and drive that would shape her future. Today, Angela serves as Director of Mission Systems at Northrop Grumman, where she leads strategic initiatives and has made notable contributions to national security, including work on the F-35 mission data reprogramming laboratory and international partnerships—efforts that earned her the Office of the Department of Defense’s highest civilian honor. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela is a devoted wife and mother of three and an active community leader. She volunteers as a Girl Scout leader, serves on local planning boards and committees, and is a newly appointed member of the Immaculate Conception Advisory Council.
