Dedicated to providing students with quality education true to Catholic tradition.
Immaculate Conception School is dedicated to providing our students with a quality education true to the Catholic tradition where academic excellence is pursued by all. Our faith is modeled and taught, expressed in worship and prayer, and uniquely lived in service to others. Our high standards are based upon the Diocesan Curriculum Guidelines and the New York State Learning Standards. We encourage each child to grow spiritually, academically, and socially.
We hope to nurture students who will be dedicated to life-long learning and who will make a positive difference in the world.
ICS ~ Yesterday, Today, Forever
Thanks to being a small school we are able to reopen with all of our students attending five days a week. We have measured the rooms, placed desks, and measured again and again . . . and by using the space we have in our building we can do this! You may view our full Reopening Plan by clicking the button below.
Our preliminary plan was shared with Dr. Robert Redfield, CDC Director, who said that our plan was “exemplary.”

Face Covering Policy for 2020-2021 School Year
After much review of policies, thought, and prayer, and including consultation with the faculty and staff, we have established our face covering policy. The NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) agree that wearing a mask in school is the single most effective strategy for reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 to others. During Dr. Redfield’s presentation on Tuesday evening he reinforced this concept of wearing masks. In looking at the East Aurora School District policy we have created a similar proper face covering policy.
Students and staff will wear masks at all times. Students will have frequent mask breaks throughout the day. During the mask break students will need to maintain a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing. They will be able to remove masks at lunch, and during music and gym when they are 12 feet apart. Whenever possible teachers will be taking classes outside for lessons. They will be able to remove their masks outside as long as they are 6 feet apart.
Bandanas and gaiters are not allowed.
Thank you for working with us on this policy which protects the health of all persons in the school. Most importantly this shows that we love our neighbor as ourselves.
COVID-19 Testing Protocol
We are following the East Aurora Union Free School District’s protoal, and will utilize the services of the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) along with private medical doctors and other local health care providers to direct any individuals within the district, students or staff, to appropriate testing locations. The links below provide information from the ECDOH on COVID-19 testing as well as a map of testing locations.
